Menopausitive Workshop at Work
Imagine a workplace culture where women are fully informed about what to expect from menopause—its timing, symptoms, and treatment options. A culture where they can proactively manage the short-and long-term effects on their health, careers, and quality of life. That’s the vision behind Menopausitive Workshop.
Unsupported menopause symptoms drive up employer healthcare costs and cause $1.8 billion in missed workdays, not to mention the added costs of reduced productivity and early retirement. Menopause typically occurs between age 45 and 55, often the time when women are at the “top of their game” in their careers. A 2023 Mayo Clinic study found an association between menopause symptoms and work life, with the severity of menopause symptoms strongly predicting the odds of an adverse work outcome.
Menopause education benefits everyone. When both men and women develop awareness around the reality of menopause, it builds empathy, breaks down stigma, and cultivates a healthier, more supportive work environment for all. It also supports a multigenerational workforce, women’s mentorship opportunities, and diverse decision-makers in leadership roles.

leave their jobs due to menopause symptoms.
